So, I'm pretty sure I never finished uploading photos from our summer trip... BUT, you know, let's begin here and just go with it.
We took a trip.
The kids had a few days off of school, but in a move unprecedented in the fam, we pulled the kids out of school for 2 day so that we could have a nice visit in Wisconsin. It was a great visit! We swam at Blue Harbor, we saw pretty leaves, we got to visit with family, we saw the lake, we visited a pumpkin patch--all the good stuff. I would also say that I think that the kids especially enjoyed our rental car--a green Kia Soul. HA!

We took a ride in the Kettle Moraine area to catch some color. Stopped at a place called Fudgieknuckles.

On Friday, we spent time at Blue Harbor. An old childhood friend of mine came up from Milwaukee with her daughter and we got to spend the day swimming with them.
Cory convinced Scout to try the riptide machine.
