A Saturday night in Denver--August 29, 2015

We had made these plans back in November. We were going to see the Book of Mormon when it comes to Denver.
We booked a hotel, and we had a vision: a little girls getaway.
The time came, and Lacey drove. The hotel was great, very convenient and clean.
Lacey got some crummy news about her sweet dog, but other than that, it was really fun!
We had a lot of yummy bubbly and the musical was delightfully irreverent and funny.
And then the next day we went shopping!

Other Scout photos

When Grandma & Papa gave Scout her camera, she was so thrilled. But since then she has been so CAREFUL with it. I even had to make her a little pouch to keep her camera in, since it didn't come with a carrying case like I have for mine. (By the way, her camera is basically the same as mine, but blue.)

Well, it's funny to see what she all photographed...

Some playtime fun:

Scout & Cory's backpacking trip on Sept 12

Scout and Cory went on their second backpacking trip with our friends Rob & Charlotte. Perhaps this has become an annual thing? I didn't go on the trip, so I'll do my best with the captioning.

It took Cory about 5 minutes of map frustration to tell me that they were on the Cirque Meadows Trail.

The girls got put in "jail" on the log after they soaked their shoes and the guys could dry them off by the fire.
