Ruby is one!

Ruby turned one on November 19th. Hard to believe how time flies.
Here is the girl, with her favorite "smile"-face.

We were fortunate to celebrate her birthday on the 20th with most of Cory's family. We did a little swimming and celebrating at the local rec center, and had lots of fun with cake and more cake.
Here's a cute one of Scout and Aunt Lacey.

I was a bit worried about how Scout would do with all the attention focused on Ruby, but she did fabulous. I think the fact that her cousins were around to distract her worked out great... and it also helped that Ruby needed lots of assistance to open up those presents.

Here is a photo Grandma captured of me doing Ruby's hair. (Again, notice her smile.)
Here she is poking her face through the railing. If you come to our house now, you'll see a piece of fabric woven between the posts... had to baby-proof the little stinker.
This is another Grandma-captured shot, on her bucking horse.
Here is the birthday girl with her dad in the pool. A lot of the other photos were too dark, or I was scared that my sister-in-law might get mad that I posted a shot of her in her bathing suit (but for the record, Lexie, you look GREAT!). There was also a shot of Papa Alan jumping off the diving board... Oh, the fun we had in the pool!
Here she is again.
With the girls opening up presents.
I thought this was a cute one of Grandma Margie with Addy and Ruby.
All the girls and some balloons.
The kiddos checking out the cake.
Big sister

There she is, all grown up and eating her birthday cake. Such a wonderful celebration, can't believe it's been a year already.

I just loved seeing all the beautiful photos of the birthday girl and her family!! Looks like it was a wonderful time! Hard to believe Ruby is already one--wish I could have been there to join in the fun!
