Last camping trip of 2013--Carter Lake

There once was a family who wanted to go camping to Jack's Gulch at the end of the 2013 "camping season." But first a crazy 100-year-flood goofed up those plans. Then, the family changed gears and got their heart set on a campsite at Dowdy Lake. But then the federal government shut down, and the family worried that maybe they should again pick a different camping destination.

All this to say--we went to Carter Lake again! Yay!

Friday night was downright chilly, but the rest of the weekend was beautiful.

 Because it was chilly, we used the table quite a bit. Having to change the table to a bed and the bed to a table can be a bit of a wrestling match. I was trying to convince Cory that it can be difficult--but he told me it was no big deal. Here are few photos of him trying to put the mattress pad & sheets on the bed.
