Breckenridge and Easter

We were able to enjoy a lovely weekend up in Breckenridge with our friends Mike and Jill and their little girl Hannah. Hannah is a big girl, about 6 months older than Scout. Scout had starry eyes watching Hannah get up and move all over the place. Whoa, did she ever move! And, our little "Scooter" is finally finding herself rather aptly nicknamed. She just started scooting all over the place, and I can't say she's officially crawling, but the race is on. And she's good. We need to step up our game, or the door stops will all have teeth marks in them.
Here with Hannah, and piggy bank toy. (New object of Scout's affections.)

Here's the whole clan in the pool, minus Jill who was taking the photo. Not that you'd know anything from the photo, but the pool at the Grand Timber Lodge is almost hot tub temperature. Although it sounds kinda weird, it's wonderful for the kiddos (and not too bad for us old folks either!).

We also had a great visit with Cory's family for Easter (minus Cory's dad who remained in Sundance). We visited with cousin Ella, and got to play with some toys. Of course, the Easter Bunny did make his very first trip to hide the basket of goodies for Scout. She seemed oblivious to it, so we didn't wind up giving her any jelly beans on account of her not demonstrating any gratitude towards the Easter Bunny. (She did the same thing to Santa Claus. Don't know what's with her.)

Uncle Jon did some face rubbing moves on the little girl, and the next thing you know the girl is out cold. Do they teach you that stuff in the Marines?
Almost asleep on Grandma Margie's shoulder.
And, here, out like a light (by "light" I obviously mean a somewhat flickering, totally unpredictable, could go out at any minute, and strobe-like illumination).
