A photo pre-Ruby:
A photo of our little bundle at the hospital. For the record, I was (and still am a little bit) completely shocked that we had another girl. I brought a blue blanket to the hospital because I was so confident.
A little burping action:
With Aunt Lacey in the kitchen:
Our little girls are getting to know one another.
Here is a video of when we brought Ruby home (on Saturday, November 21).We're adjusting to life with a newborn about as well as we possibly could. Our little Ruby has been a good sleeper, and we have been lucky to have a fair bit of help. Grandma Margie stayed for about two weeks, and Cory's family has paid us visits. Cory will return to work tomorrow (Friday, December 4) and then we'll have the weekend together again. Late Tuesday, Grandma Karen will arrive, so we have help on the way.
We are truly blessed. At Ruby's two-week check up today, she weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and was 21 inches. Her color looked good, and we'll go back to the doctor on December 22.
