RMNP--again!--and a visit to an old haunt

We attempted picnic #3 on Sunday the 31st, and our second hot-dog cookout. It was so fun, we are getting better each time. The whole hot dog cookout is much more exciting than a plain ol' picnic, and this time we even remembered table cloth(s) AND a set of tongs for the grill. Man, we're getting good at this!

 Yesterday (the 1st) we went to Denver for a playdate with old friends. My camera sat in the car/in a bag throughout the duration of our fun times at the Westlands Park in Greenwood Village, of course. But after a bit of shopping, we decided to head to McDonald's (when we discovered the snack bar at Costco was under renovation!)... and took our snackies to our beloved Potenza Park back in the old 'hood. Not much has changed, except I think since our kids are bigger now, it seemed smaller!

I remember thinking, "Doesn't everyone have a smartphone, Can't we just google "Potenza" if we want to learn more?"

The blue flip flops. These were found during our trip to Nordstrom Rack, and quickly became an obsession. It became obvious to me that whether I liked it or not, these $8 flip flops were going to come home with us.
