Carter lake camping trip--May 17-19

I can't figure out why my vertical photos are becoming short and stout, but I will press on.

During the weekend of May 17th, we went up to Carter Lake and took our very first camping trip of the season. The weather was good, but it was breezy at times. For our first trip out, it was a good one. Cory got to fish, I got to read, and the girls got plenty of marshmallows. It's so amazing how much things can change in one year--last year Ruby wouldn't have had the stamina for the few walks that we did, but this year she did quite well.

Lots of wildflowers on the trail

Another night of delicious marshmallows

We took some walks around the lake, and the water level is definitely back up. It's nice to see the water levels back up! We had a great time, and we didn't even need to use the electric heater.
