Well, it's been over six months since I've taken these photos and I can't remember the exact circumstances, but Margie was down in Fort Collins & Lacey had the day off. Scout's school had just gone on this great field trip to CSU's Environmental Learning Center, and I thought it'd be fun to show Margie & Lacey the trails and the birds (oh, yes, BIRDS! The Rocky Mountain Raptor program keeps several large birds on the property).
I thought that these were really fun photos, and I can't believe I never posted them back in May, but here they are.

This is such a fun spot to visit. We tried to get out and see the trails & the river not too long after the flood in September, but we got out the car and several folks warned us about the terrible mosquitoes. Ick. So, we haven't been back for a while, but we'll be back!
