The remainder of the week was spent visiting with more friends, including "auntie" T, neighbors and assorted others.
With a lime that Grandma gave her. (I swear it did not marinate in a gimlet first.)
With a little walking help from Grams.

And writing letters on the typewriter. (Incidentally, that typewriter has been around forever, I think it was from my great-grandfather, and that's a photo of Matty as a young lad.)
Taking a snooze with Gramps.
Getting a scrub-down from the master-cleaner herself.

With new found friend, Elmo. Grandma made the mistake of trying to entertain Scout by walking in one of the shops at the airport right before we left. Well, she walked out with Scout AND Elmo. Grandma actually thought it was so funny that she laughed about it the whole ride home--Scout and her friend Elmo the backpack.

And, as promised, the polka video. Everyone in the world should go to Al&Al's in Sheboygan on any given Friday night for the delicious perch and fantastic live music!
And, feast your eyes upon the happy reunion photo. Daddy's girl back in her daddy's arms. Awww. (With breadstick, at the Olive Garden!)
