'Tis the season

We are beginning the festivities that only come with the month of December. Ornament making, cookie decorating, opening up St. Nick's gifts, and, of course, the Harper family tradition of setting off in the front-wheel-drive sleigh to obtain a Christmas tree to rival the one that Charlie Brown picks out for the Peanuts gang.

We went to a local greenhouse/garden shop for a visit to Santa. (I do actually have photos of the girls on Santa's lap, but those are on a separate CD and since I don't have a CD drive on this laptop, I'll have to wait for those!) We enjoyed the "free" popcorn, cider, ornament making and a look at Santa's reindeer.

We will make more cookies, perhaps make more ornaments, and definitely do more exploring of festive events. It's only December 10th! But it seems like we better hurry up and get all our sparkle on before the season is over!
