Cory's birthday and a few others

Here's the birthday boy.

You'd think that the fun of purchasing a new camper would be enough, but we couldn't stop with the fun. We had our family over for a little celebration in honor of Cory's 38th birthday. Good times!

The birthday boy requested chilli dogs. So, we had some food, fun, and cake pops. The weather worked out, too.

We sang more than once because one very special girl was off wandering!

Cory blew candles out on top of a pint of ice cream (it was "Birthday Cake" flavored!)--cake pops just don't hold a candle the way I'd hoped!

 After all that busy partying, we had a pretty relaxed week. Again, we had some fun with Scout's friend Hana.

The other day we played with our friends Charlotte and Rebecca--and when we drove home, this happened. They transferred to the couch pretty well and slept another 2 hours or so. (GASP! My kids!)

We were out on a scavenger hunt--in hot pursuit of mail boxes, street signs, birds nests, etc.
