JayFlight Swift (or "How to make Cory really, really happy")

Here she is, parked in front of our house
Today we picked up our new camper.
Yes, we will be beginning a new chapter for our little family: The Campers
Interior wise, it's pretty compact and basic. We liked that aspect. We figure if we really love all this camping stuff, we can always upgrade. Technically speaking, this camper is low on bells and whistles--manual awning, simple radio (with USB port), TV antenna hook up (but no TV), two-burner stove-top, mini-fridge, manually-lit hot water heater, etc. However, considering that for most of last winter we were only considering tent camping, all of this seems like a major upgrade. It sleeps 4-5 between two bunk beds, one small couch and a dining area that converts to a full-sized bed. There is AC and a heater, so I suppose we're covered if the weather is not cooperative. All in all, this baby has just about all the comforts of home (only without the advantages of a sewage system--that job is ALL Cory, thank you very much).

The proud new "Home Owner"

The kids have been hanging out in it--and of course, when there's down-time, there's also "blankies" involved

The bunks, and a view of the couch

Scout and a pillow (see kitchen with mini-fridge in the background)

Kitchen cabinetry, microwave and two-burner stove alongside the sink

At the dining room table/full-sized bed
The bathroom, and a bonus shot of me taking the photo!
In summary, all of us seem thrilled! As Cory pointed out, he's been talking about his childhood days of camping ever since I met him. We are VERY much looking forward to our first trip--our reservations are for May 18th!
