Summertime in Sundance, WY

Upon leaving Sioux Falls, our last destination loomed ahead: Grandma and Papa's house in Sundance. We reached there in the early afternoon of the 3rd.

Time was well-spent doing all of the things that are well-suited for Grandma and Papa's house. We played playdough. We took scooter rides. We watched movies. (We even drove into Rapid City to see "Brave" at the theatre with our cousins!) We ate delicious food, including an awful lot of Lucky Charms. We swam in the kiddie pool. We took a hike on a trail in the woods. We were also very fortunate to have Lexie, Ella and Addy in Sundance at the same time as us as well, so that made the visit even more fun.

We returned to Fort Collins on July 8th, and it was very good to be home. We had a great visit, and got to spend time with so many people that we love so much.

Happy Fourth from Sundance!

Where did she go?

Lexie and Grandma spent a lot of time doing little girls' hair

Ahhh--the mud monster!

Papa was the ringleader of the mud brigade

Going for a scooter ride around the neighborhood

My sweet car riders--I'd estimate we spent (conservatively) 56 hours in the car in a 3 week period

We were on a hunt for thimbleberries and choke cherries but we came up short

I think she's going to be a hiker
