Lexie agreed and we had it all set up. I picked the Ella & Addy up in Cheyenne on Saturday morning while Auntie Lacey watched Scout & Ruby. The girls were so amped up by the time their cousins arrived, it was so incredibly cute. We took a trip to the neighborhood pool and the kids were so sweet walking there. After returning from the pool, the kids ate hot dogs and chips and we had movie night. Bedtime was a little hairy, as it always is around here, but everyone got to sleep by 10 pm. Not bad, right?
The next morning, the girls were up early- 6:30- and imagine my shock to learn that Ella doesn't like pancakes! So, Ella had cocoa puffs while the rest of us had flapjacks & sausages, and I prepared them for the fact that we needed to get everything out of the basement because when Aunt Lacey returned home from her night shift, she was going to sleep in the basement. We had a great morning (aside from the part where the did sneak down and wake up Aunt Lacey), and the girls did some fun stuff, and when Uncle Jon came at 10:30, it was sad to say goodbye.
Walking hand in hand--so cute!
Poolside picnic!
Addy went down the slide at least two dozen times
We did have a basement visitor that caused some alarm: Addy came running up the stairs to tell me, "Aunt Jayme, there'sananimaldownstairs!"
I'm sure we'll do it again. It was just so much fun for the girls! And I like popcorn a lot, too!
