Wisconsin--Part II

It's hard to believe, but I left off on Tuesday. Yep, was a very full week of fun!
On Wednesday, we had a plan based on the weather--if it rains, we'll go to the movies, but if it's nice we're taking off for someplace. As it turned out, the weather cooperated, and we headed to Kohler-Andrae State Park.
Hiking the dune to get to the beach

My sweet little beach bunnies

We just don't have beaches like this in Colorado

Love this photo of my girl!

This is my honey

And then, the most hilarious thing happened. After Cory write the girls names in the sand, he wrote this.

"JAMEY"
Wait... who the heck is "JAMEY"???

She is such a good artist--drawing her family in the sand

"JAYME"--Ah, redeemed!

So proud of her artwork

My version

There were kites sailing in the sky

Then Grandma and Grandpa brought some lunch for all of us. It was delicious! Then we took a nature walk with Grandma.

Love this girl!
On Thursday the 1st, we met some friend in Elkhart Lake at Fireman's Park.

The "Girls Club"
The girls all laid their towels out in front of the snack shack. They called it "Girls Club" and when I went over to check on them, they were telling really bad knock knock jokes to one another and laughing hysterically.

We left around lunchtime on Friday the 2nd, but before we left we took a few photos.

I love this photo so much! Some of my favorite people!

Ruby was so reluctant to have her photo taken

The days spent in Wisconsin were very good. It was so good to see my dad up and at 'em a bit more, driving and more mobile. Until next time!
