Scout's school program--March 31st

Scout's school is so great. They award a kiddo in each class each month with a Positive Behavior award--they call them "The Shepardson Stars." It was so fun to watch Scout get this award, she was so thrilled. 

She's been wanting to be recognized like this since she went to the first assembly back at the end of August. She walked into the gym (where they hold the assembly) and she noticed Cory, Ruby and me, but she didn't put two and two together. She told me that she was very surprised. Apparently, fearing disappointment-- She said, "I was ready to put my fingers in my ears so that I wouldn't have to hear who was going to be called." But then it was her, so PHEW.
