Kidz Bop Concert with Ella & Addy--Aug. 16

What seems like eons ago--the weekend before Scout started school--we went to a concert. It was Kidz Bop Live! Lexie, Ella & Addy came down to Fort Collins in their new wheels, and we all went to the afternoon concert at the Lincoln Center. Here's some "pre-show" action--the kids are dancing to the Kidz Bop version of "What Does the Fox Say?" http://youtu.be/vndcwVCOatk

It was a fun summer with the cousins--we seemed to see them a lot! Camping trip, 4th of July fun and this concert. If you don't know Kidz Bop, it's basically kids (maybe ages 10 to 14) who sing and dance. These kids are amazing--I couldn't believe how talented they were. The Kidz Bop kids sing live, and they exclusively do covers of some really popular "Top 40"-type songs. Going into this concert, Scout was pretty nervous that the music would be way too loud for her. She was very brave, though, and we used ear plugs to help her through things. I dare say everyone had a fun time, including the moms!

By the end of the concert, the girls were dancing. Ruby was doing some pretty exciting moves, and it was a good show.
After we finished the concert, we stopped by Aunt Lacey's house and she showed us her gorgeous flowers.
This is apparently some sort of hibiscus.
