Trunk or Treat--Oct. 26th

Our church hosts a "Trunk or Treat" event the weekend before Halloween. The past two years, we've decorated our trunk and handed out candy. Before we left for the event, Ruby decided that she would be a witch and Scout was previously confirmed as a Black Cat. We did some make up, we did some dress up, and we hit the road with our Halloween decor. I decided that I would offer face paint "spooky spider" tattoos for the Trunk or Treak kids. It went pretty well, but inevitably some kids wanted fancy face painting so I expanded my repertoire to include a witch's hat and a bat.

Scout was anxiously awaiting the arrival of friends

 The kids had fun with their friends, and we even got two pumpkins for carving!
Afterwards we went to the Chilli Cook off and the kids had delicious ol' Kraft macaroni and cheese. Fun times!
