Miscellaneous summer fun

I was talking with a good friend today and she and I were discussing how fast the summer has gone. I proposed that I really hadn't been that busy, but all the same it seemed hours turned into days turned into weeks. It is now August, and fortunately due to the decision to delay kindergarten by one year we will be able to have a few more weeks of summer. Scout doesn't start pre-school until after Labor Day, but all the same this summer seems like a blur.

Here's a bit of evidence of what we've been up to.
