We tossed around a few ideas for our summer vacation...
We stayed at a KOA near Glenwood Springs. The campsite was really deluxe and it was situated along the Colorado River. So pretty!

On Monday morning, we took a trip to hike the Hanging Lake trail. SO PRETTY!
On the same day, we went to the Glenwood Springs hot springs and we went out to dinner at an Italian place. Big day!
The next day, we headed up to Aspen. We paid $25/person (totally worth it) to ride the gondola up to the top of the mountain. It was gorgeous. Unfortunately, Ruby started complaining about her stomach at that point, so we didn't hang out at the high elevation for too long. The drive through the valley to get to Aspen was spectacular. We didn't spend a ton of time there, but it was still a cool experience.
After Aspen, we had a poor little girl get carsick. So we just chilled after that, and we headed to Ridgway State Park on June 20th.
