Sundance visit for 4th of July

We visited Sundance for a few days. We picked up the nieces on our way through Cheyenne, so the kids had a week-long stay with their cousins and their grandparents.

Originally, we were going to camp at this nice campground that we've stayed at before. Unfortunately, there was a terrible hail storm that ran through the Sundance and damaged the campground, so we wound up camping in Alan & Margie's driveway. (Thanks, Alan & Margie!)

We saw grandma and she looked remarkably good! She was sharp and her color was good. We spent an afternoon with her on the 3rd.

We took the kids on a trip around the tower.

We watched the firework displays that Alan and Cory worked so hard to put on. Cory picked up quite a few items from one of the fireworks stores at the Wyoming/Colorado border

Here is one of the videos. It's so fun to watch, I have to be honest. This one is all about the talking in the dark prior to the actual fountain. This one was actually the first one of the fireworks.

Ruby found a wig

Cory made a strawberry rhubarb pie. Yum!
