Then we headed over to Ouray to check out Box Canyon Falls. It was a bit of a height-challenge for me, but we all survived.
At Ridgway State Park, the reservoir was low, but we still had a blast at the beach.
Our campsite was beautiful. Due to the dry weather, we couldn’t have a campfire. The dog got me up pretty early, and I can attest to the fact that the stars are gorgeous in the sky at night at Ridgway.
We did check out the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, as well. It was a hot one, but it was lovely.
